Nov. 28, 1962 - Aug. 9, 2015 Today the Harris family wishes to announce the death our son and brother, Scott Alan Harris. Scott was born the son of Clyde Arnold Harris and LaRue Owen Harris, both of Huntsville, Alabama and the younger brother of Ricky Owen Harris (Lin), now of Chattanooga. Scott passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Huntsville Hospital after being in the ICU several days. The doctors were unable to bring him back. He lived most of his life in Huntsville and remained close to his parents while working at Circuit City, Boeing Computer Services and Wyle Laboratories before starting his own home improvement and real estate investment business. When he was young, his blonde hair, blue eyes and generous smile were a joy to all. He was kind and considerate to all who knew him. He loved to laugh with the few people he allowed inside his world. While we are saddened by his passing and our hearts are broken and cannot be mended, we are comforted in knowing that he has already started a new and wonderful life and we look forward to seeing him again one day in a far happier place. It is the wishes of my brother and my parents that there will be no funeral, no service, and no memorial. It is our wish that all who care, take a moment step outside your backdoor, look up at the stars in Heaven above and wish our son and brother a joyful journey. He will surely be missed.
