Shawn's wife Sharon grew up across the street from my body shop.  This was his obituary.

To My Family and Friends

I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.  I'd like to leave only treasured memories, smiles and good thoughts.  I am following the path God has laid for me.  I took His hand when I heard Him call.  I turned my back and left it all.  I could not stay another day to laugh or love or to work or play.  Tasks left undone must stay that way.  I've found peace at the end of the day.  If we shared a laugh and a kiss yet these things I will miss too.  Be not burdened with this time of sorrow.  I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.  My life's been full, I savored much, good times, good friends, and loved one's touch.  Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, don't lengthen it with undo grief.  Lift up your hearts and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free.  I love you all and will miss your smiling faces.  BUT DO NOT GRIEVE FOR ME FOR I AM FREE
